Responding to requests that had long been made by fans, the vocalist of the band Lyria , Aline Happ Evanescence on her YouTube channel .

The connection between the two bands had been requested by the public for some time due to the similarities in vocal technique used by Aline and Amy Lee , with influences from gothic metal and operatic singing, with Evanescence being one of Lyria's main references.

In a statement, Aline wrote: “It’s a beautiful song that many people requested. Evanescence was the first heavier band, with a woman singing and mixing popular and classical vocals, that I heard. I was enchanted and thought, 'One day I’ll have a band like that.' Years later, I founded Lyria.”

On her YouTube channel, Aline Happ has already done her own reinterpretations of songs by Metallica , Scorpions , and even pop singer Rihanna . The singer is now preparing to release her debut album, which, according to her, should arrive later this year.
